Some vaccines are necessary and lifesaving. Others are legally mandated by states and local municipalities. Others yet are required by boarding kennels or groomers. Dr. Stephen will individualize what your pets’ vaccine needs truly are. This is to ensure your pet gets everything they require and nothing more.
Veterinary Hospital Emergency Policy
Dr. Stephen recognizes that when a pet becomes sick or injured, it is not always during office hours (and often is not).
Dr. Stephen also recognizes that local options for emergency service are no longer available.
Dr. Stephen also knows that as a solo practitioner, he will not always be available 24/7/365.
These are the ways Arbitter Veterinary Hospital will help our clients and patients:
- After 30 years in the Veterinary field, Dr. Stephen knows a vast majority of after-hours emergencies simply require medication. Our current active clients will be provided with an annual emergency kit specifically tailored to your animals.
- Messages after hours will be routinely hourly checked up until 10 pm each night. Dr Stephen then can help triage the individual emergency.
- Saturday mornings we will be open from 9-11 am to see sick or hurt patients.
- Sunday will be Dr. Stephen’s day off.
